It’s officially holiday time here at Sweet Paper! Elves came in overnight to decorate the store and set up all of our seasonal merchandise! Well…. by elves I mean Theresa, Julie, myself with special help from Ashley Elizabeth on our fabulous window decorations. Here’s a peak at other magical things that happened this week!

Monday: Guests started receiving these custom invitations for a fabulous New Year’s Eve wedding! A simply elegant black and white design; I love the clean look of this suite! The black printed back with their initials adds a personal touch, and matches the custom stamp used for the return address.  All the pieces were tied together with black and gold twine from Knot & Bow to add a little bit of sparkle. The calligraphy by Wendy Ware is the icing on this perfect wedding  invitation cake.

Any reason is a good reason for sparkle twine!

Tuesday: I love the white letterpress on these colored cards from The Social Type, a new line here at Sweet Paper. Their bold colors make them pop on our wall o’ cards, and I’m not surprised to see them flying out the door to happy recipients already!

sweet and simple!

Wednesday: Receiving great invitations from Bella Figura was a great way to get over the mid-week hump! While I can’t disclose all the wedding details, I couldn’t resist sharing how awesome green edge painting looks on two-ply cards.  And the envelope liner to match?! Be still by beating heart…

green with envy over these invitations!

Thursday: I think a lot of people would agree that there is something novel about everyday objects in jumbo, or super small scale. It goes without saying that I had to take a moment to get my pulse down to normal after seeing the miniature Elite Retro 51 Pens!
Great stocking stuffers, or a “go-to” for your purse, these little pens carry all the quality of the regular Retro 51 pens we love!

I’ll be writing these down on my Christmas list this year!

Friday: Also new in the shop is Fawnsberg, an extremely unique and fabulous line from New York. The designer uses hand calligraphy to create beautiful cards and writing paper. We received a few styles of her note sets, my favorite part is the packaging! The cards and envelopes are tucked into a great folio, rather than your standard box. So creative!

I love these cards adorned with bright florals!
